Cookies are used e.g. to be able to recognize your device on the next visit, i.a. to improve your user experience. When you use the Toothie app (the " App "), cookies will be stored on your device. This Cookie Policy contains information regarding how and to what extent Toothie uses cookies when you use the App.

2. Different types of cookies

There are different types of cookies, which are usually divided into so-called session cookies and permanent cookies. 2.1.1 A session cookie is a cookie that is stored during the time you use a website and is deleted when you close your browser. 2.1.2 A permanent cookie is stored on your device for a certain period of time or continuously until you delete it.

3. Different types of cookies

In addition to session cookies and permanent cookies, cookies are usually divided into first-party cookies and third-party cookies. A first-party cookie is a cookie that is set by the website you visit or the app you use. A third-party cookie is a cookie that is set by someone else, ie. a third party (e.g. Google Advertising ID (AAID)).

We use both session cookies and permanent cookies and these cookies are set both by the App (first-party cookies) and by third parties.

When you browse the App, we typically use cookies to remember you when you visit the App. We do this to facilitate your browsing and improve your user experience on the App

5. Categories of cookies

We have divided our use of Cookies into four categories, in order to clarify the purposes for which we use cookies. The categories of cookies we use are: 5.1.1 Analysis cookies : which we use to collect and analyze statistics, e.g. visit and click history or to investigate the opening frequency of emails we make; 5.1.2 Functional cookies : which we use to enable the use of certain functions in the App, e.g. save information that you have booked a care visit; 5.1.3  Marketing cookies : which we use to be able to display ads and recommendations in the App, but also to limit the number of times an ad is displayed to you; and 5.1.4  Necessary cookies : which we use in order for us to be able to deliver the services we provide via the App at all.

6. You can control the use of cookies

6.1

You can normally manage your cookie settings through the settings in your device. Through these settings you can e.g. block the use of cookies, review the cookies used and stored on your device and delete the cookies stored.

6.2

When you choose not to allow the App to store cookies regarding your use of the App, a cookie may be set on your device so that the App will remember not to set any cookies on the device when you use the App. We ask you to note that if you choose to delete all cookies stored on your device, this cookie may also be deleted, after which the App will not remember that you have blocked the use of cookies. If you delete all cookies, you therefore need to go in and block cookies again.
